There are so many reasons why we love this business, but most of all, we love seeing happy faces out on the water. We believe that sailing is one of the best ways to build a team, bond a family, grow confidence, and see the world. At Liberty Yachts, we love what we do and we’re here both for you and because of you – whether it be through yacht charter, boat brokerage, or boat maintenance – and we’d love to tell you a bit more about ourselves. Simon has managed Liberty Yachts since 1993, and has been boating since the age of 5. He is a Yachtmaster Offshore and Full Member of the Association of Brokers and Yacht Agents. Away from work he enjoys getting out on the water – racing in his Laser, and J24’s.
Having spent many weekends and summer seasons at Liberty Yachts over the years, Emily joined the team full time in 2022. With a background as a manager in the hospitality industry, she now largely focuses on our yacht charters and general office admin.
Ben joined the team on a more regular basis in 2024, having also spent a lot of time at Liberty over the years. You may see him around the marina doing any number of tasks, as he now helps out with cleaning and maintenance – and is certainly kept busy!
If you come by our office you may be greeted by our part time helper and ‘CEO’ Rosie! She enjoys walks around the marina, meeting new people and lots of attention. Away from work her hobbies include chasing tennis balls and napping.
